This research aims to understand the pressures doctors face due to various factors causing job unhappiness and disturbed lifestyles. It aims to help medical doctors understand that job satisfaction affects their mental health and job-related stress affects their performance. It can also help supervisors or seniors arrange sessions to explain the conditions and factors affecting their mental health. A study involving 150 doctors from private and government hospitals used a correlational research design and purposive sampling strategy. The Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale, the Brief Resilience Coping Scale, and a Job Satisfaction Survey were used. Data was analyzed using SPSS, descriptive analysis for demographics, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis, Independent Sample T-test, and mediation through regression analysis. The results showed significant relationships between job satisfaction, psychological discomfort, and coping. However, no significant differences were found between male and female job satisfaction, psychological distress, and coping. Coping was not found to be a mediator of job satisfaction and psychological distress. Job satisfaction was found to be a significant predictor of psychological distress.
