Self-Archiving Policy

At Pakistan Journal of Psychological Research, we firmly support open access and encourage authors to share their work through self-archiving. We permit authors to deposit pre and postprints of their articles in institutional or subject repositories and on their personal websites and social media profiles, provided proper attribution is given to Pakistan Journal of Psychological Research and the article's DOI.

To ensure that authors adhere to our self-archiving policy, we have outlined the following guidelines:

  • Post-prints: Authors may deposit post-prints of their articles in institutional and subject repositories, as well as on their personal websites and social media profiles after the article has been published in Pakistan Journal of Psychological Research. Post-prints may include the article’s final version but not the publisher's layout or formatting.

When self-archiving, authors should provide the following information:

  • The article's DOI and citation information, including the journal name, volume, issue, and page numbers.
  • A link to the published article on the journal’s website.
  • A statement acknowledging that the article was published in Pakistan Journal of Psychological Research and providing a link to the journal's website.

Self-archiving can help increase the visibility and impact of research, and we encourage authors to take advantage of this opportunity. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our self-archiving policy, please contact us at pjpr@nip.edu.pk.
